I never got around to reading Stephen Wolfram’s “A New Kind of Science”, but perhaps I will now that it’s freely available online. Something else that I meant to read many years ago and never did is Eric Drexler’s “Engines of Creation” – now available here.

Like most people, I still prefer print on paper and a bound spine when I read – on the coffee table this week is ‘Moondust’ by Andrew Smith. Best described as a gonzo account of the Apollo program and strangely, it works.
